DESCRIPTION
A scarce Chick Strand flyer by Neon Park. The Independent Film Oasis screened films in Los Angeles from 1976 to 1981.
Flyer has noticeable staining in lower part, but is nevertheless a desirable artifact documenting Los Angeles avant-garde cinema history.

Neon Park was an American artist and illustrator, known for his album covers and rock posters.

Chick Strand (1931-2009) was a Los Angeles avant-garde filmmaker who also taught at Occidental College. She was one of the founders of Canyon Cinema.
