DESCRIPTION
A dynamic oil from the 1940's, considered Fischinger's strongest decade for his painting. Many of Fischinger's paintings were studies for possible film projects. Triangles and squares figure prominently throughout both his films and paintings. From the collection of a private collector. Reverse has Fischinger's estate stamp (Nachlass Oskar Fischinger); handwriting on reverse is not Oskar's.
